Today, 5/2/2022, I have changed a few things.

-Fixed the rebirth books not been given after the 3rd rebirth. If you have had a problem from this bug please open a ticket and provide all information needed! Please don't send fake reports! I can see in the logs who had the problem or not! ^^

-Adjusted the drop rate for Large Dragon Bones. This is the most common complain I am getting and I can't confirm it myself. In every test I did, both on live server and on my local test server the drop rate is accurate based on the retail server AND the x25 rate from us been applied!
My take on the issue is probably low kill rate and overexaggeration on the subject either on the kill rate of the people who have report the issue to me or not taken in other factors.
Either way, I have changed the base drop rate of LDB 2-3x times. I will also apply soon a patch to limit the active bosses spawn to 1 per spawn base and there will be a cooldown to keep things fair and clean!

-Applied some bans. Those who know me, know that I am not a harsh person and I do not get any pleasure by banning people. With that being said, I am also the guy who made the rules and also the guy who has to apply them!
I have been ill the past 2 days but I was able to login and I saw some chars with disrespectful store names. I disconnected them as a "friendly" gesture but my kindness was mistaken as weakness and today the same chars with the same disrespectful shops were in the same place.
...perma ban. Guys whoever wants to stay is welcome! We don't ask for anything BUT to respect our rules! Our rules are there, if you don't like them why join us in the first place?

And to close on more pleasant tone, we are working with L2JSunrise team to fix the Kariks in LOA. For those who are unaware of the issue, the mobs in that location instead of attacking the puller, they are returning to their spawn location and lose aggro.

Also from next week, I will install a new antibot measure. I have isolated packets that the server receives and are related to adrenaline. Unfortunately the server itself doesn't do anything automatically BUT I am adding a second layer that will get those packets, filter them and if we have a positive match, accounts who are related with the usage of 3rd party tools will be banned!
Premium .autofarm users won't be affected because most of the work happens server-side.

Those bans won't be recalled, yesterday I had given to those chars a "friendly" disconnect as a warning.

Today character ban have been applied, tomorrow all accounts related to the same IP.

Should I do it with the subclass ? Did I loose time leveling ? Only 3 books per character ?

Today, 31/1/2022 we have updated both the JDK that we are compiling the sources and the JRE that runs the server to the latest version 1.8.0.321 This update doesn't include a changelog so we don't know what it fixes, improves etc.

We have also applied the latest commits from L2JSunrise!

Also we have noticed that the server have crashed 2 times, the main reason was that the server was out of memory. The out of memory is not very easy to explain because we have plenty of RAM to host up to 2k people before we need to upgrade the server but still the server have run out of memory with much less population...

This can be attributed to some memory leak that happens under specific conditions or some sort of attacks towards the server. Boting and 3rd party tools are considered as attacks as well.

We have the subject under investigation and counter measures will be applied if that is the case!

I know this is a silly topic but hear me out!
The past few days I've been bombarded with questions and reports for problems, which is fine!

What I would like to clarify though is how to separate something that indeed is a problem and needs to be fixed from something that you saw in a private server and was working in a different way than you see here.

L2J is not for the better part, the same as Official L2.
With that being said, there have been a lot of improvements over the years since High Five was in the retail, on the L2J platform and a lot of things converge.

Me and the other GMs we all were players in Devianne and later on to Chronos on retail, so our experiences that we are trying to convey to the game are based on that!

So NPC's behaviors, drops and so on are not the same way you might have seen in another private server!

Now, how to tell the 2 apart? How to tell if this is retail like or from some private server a weird config? Well, there are sites like pmfun where you can check first and you can also check on the private server you were playing IF that feature you've seen was modded by them.
You can also report it here and we will do an investigation, but keep in mind we mostly want the game in most aspects to remain close to retail and not to copy another private server!

Today we've released our latest client update 1.2 and you can read about it here but also there were a few server side updates!

To begin with, our linux server had a kernel update and for that we needed to reboot the server. This usually happens once a month.

Second on the list was the addition of Hellbound teleports on the GK, most of the work had been done a few days ago when people requested it in our facebook page but we needed the restart to apply it properly. To clarify, facebook is not to provide support. For that we have tickets!

Third, speaking on the tickets I had to resolve some configs that prevented users from registering or login to our forum. I am using FireFox and MS Edge on Windows 11 and on Manjaro KDE Linux and didn't face any problem(s) on all the attempts I did to either register or login. But since it was reported to me, I had to look into it. I believe it has been resolved!

Forth, there were a few tweaks here and there in the server files, nothing major to specify it.
What worth though to mention is that from the logs I've seen 2 characters giving me weird errors, those errors are being created when people use 3rd party tools. I have given the proper warnings to the players who owned those chars, that this is a clear violation of rules and there won't be an exception to our rules for anyone!
Although today's maintenance didn't include any antibot tweaks, there are antibot measures already implemented, I want this post to serve as first and last warning to old and new players, there won't be any tolerance whatsoever!

Lastly for tonight, there is a to-do list in our forum, this is a list of feature we would like to implement in the game but none of which is free, I would like to thank all those who have donated!!! You guys have brought 3/5 features so far!

The latest addition from that list is the autofarm option, it had been in beta for a few days now, most-if-not-all of its problems have been ironed out!!! For the time being this feature is only for premium users and it will remain a premium feature for the time being. There is no ETA nor I want to commit to anyone, having said that, I am working for a time limited option for non premium users. Also it will be available only on 1 client per PC. For Premium users there won't be any limits!

So far every time you use the .getreward voiced command there are a lot of rewards, Vote Coins (x5) and Large Dragon Bone (x1) that are given with 100% chance and ALL Vesper Weapon & Armor Recipes that with chances.

Please post bellow what rewards would you like to get from the .getreward and what from the Vote Coins and we will choose the best within reason!

We are working to add autofarm feature to the server!

Until we finalize it to the way we want to be, it will remain disabled though!

We want it to be 1 client per PC and up to 4 hours per day. We are working on giving to the premium users with less restrictions.
